Greenheart Grant Winner’s Star Performance in Georgia

Greenheart Travel Grants promote wonderful community development projects across the globe where our participants are teaching and volunteering. One of our latest grants was awarded to a group of teachers in Georgia who created a “Theater in Education” program. This group of teachers lead by Charles McKinney collaborated with youth in Georgia to teach English in an exciting, theatrical way. Theater in Education takes an American classic play and combines them with a similar story from Georgian culture and is then performed in English.
