I have to say that I am profusely sorry that I didn’t blog last weekend. I got caught up which I’ll explain once I get to that part of my blog. 🙂 So to start….with the 12th of March….it was one of our own exchange student’s 16th birthday. We all went to Apache pizza and surprised him with balloons, presents, and even a candle on top of his pizza. Happy Birthday Tilman! I’m not sure if I’m the only one who has noticed this but I feel like I’ve been here for a lot of birthdays…..anyways back to my week. On Thursday the 13th, Federica came over for awhile and had dinner and played games with the sisters. They loved her and really laughed when she started speaking Italian to the dog. On Monday I was in Dublin for St. Patrick’s Day! It was loads of fun with all of the people around and all of the green. They even turned some buildings green with lights! We were all there for the parade which was different than what I was expecting. I mean it wasn’t terrible but they didn’t have any floats and didn’t throw out any candy! Really? What kind of a parade is that? We got home later so that’s why I didn’t have time to blog. Then on Tuesday I had laryngitis and a cold flu and have been out of school all week. Today has been the first day that I have felt pretty good so I decided to blog. Eleanor and I have been cooking like crazy today. Brown bread(the first time I made it and yes mom I can come home and make it there), cake, scones, and rhubarb apple pies. Emma is off camping with her scout group, and Grace, Oli, and Paul are all swimming with the grandparents so it’s just the two of us and a kitchen! Now back to school for 3 weeks then a 2 week Easter Break! It’s crazy how fast time is going….Katie and my mom will be arriving in Ireland in 9 weeks! Just crazy…. blog you all later! 🙂
