You have been placed!!

I’m sitting in french class and my phone vibrates once. My phone only vibrates once if it’s an email. I’m sitting there in a dark french room because we are watching a movie. I pulled out my phone and looked and I read ” you have been placed!!!”. I’m not supposed to have my phone out so I school my hand up and ask to go to the bathroom. A million thoughts are running through my head. “I hope I’m down south”, “Maybe they have kids”, “where are they from”. I finally get to the bathroom and I’m leaning on a wall. *gets weird look from kid in bathroom* I’m reading as fast as I can. I want to take it all in.

I could not have asked for a better host family. They have kids, they ride, they play tennis. Everything I could have asked for. I am so excited to meet them in August.
