We are so proud of the volunteer work our Greenheart Travelers do! Each year our volunteers make an impact on many people and animals in communities around the world – including our Stray Dog Rescue Project in Thailand. Since 2014, Greenheart Travel volunteers have contributed in various ways to help treat and release an ever-growing population of local dogs at the facility, in addition to providing much-needed love and companionship to the animals at the rescue project.

Here’s how our volunteers have made an impact at our Stray Dog Rescue Project in Thailand since 2014:

Our Stray Dog Rescue Project was also last year’s winning recipient of the Greenheart Travel Give Back Award. The Give Back Award is our way to make a charitable donation to the work our international partners are doing within their volunteer projects. The Stray Dog Rescue Project in Thailand was granted $3,500 to help them rebuild a housing and clinic facility, purchase more kennels, and create a recreational area for street dogs.

Take a look at the Stray Dog Rescue Project’s progress from start to finish:

We would like to thank all of our volunteers and our partner organization, Rescue Paws, for working to improve the quality of life and care for an increasing number of street dogs in Thailand. We truly applaud your efforts, and we look forward to seeing the numbers of dogs treated and adopted continue to rise.
